Dr. Diana Dills is Senior Director within the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Team at Pfizer. She obtained her MD degree at the University of Virginia. Dr. Dills has a distinguished record in the field of diabetes care and research. She is an endocrinologist and did her fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Wisconsin, where in 1985 she joined the faculty, established the Diabetes Center for Care and Research and rose to the rank of Associate Professor. In 1998, Dr. Dills became an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. There, she established the Diabetes Center in the Department of Medicine, which is recognized by the American Diabetes Association as a Center of Excellence.
Dr. Dills’ areas of research expertise have included many clinical trials of new treatments and devices for diabetes treatments, prevention of diabetes complications, and prevention of adult onset type 1 diabetes. She continues to be clinically active by volunteering at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
