Dr. Leslie Amass is a Medical Director in Rare Disease within Global Medical Affairs at Pfizer. Leslie received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles, and her Master of Arts and Doctoral degree in Experimental and Physiological Psychology from Boston University. Before joining Pfizer in 2012, Leslie was a Global Medical Director in Neuroscience/CNS at Merck and Schering- Plough. During her industry career, Leslie has provided diverse Rare Disease/Neuroscience/CNS therapy area expertise within Neurology (TTR-Amyloidosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Pain) and Psychiatry (ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, opioid addiction). Prior to joining industry, Leslie was a global key opinion leader in CNS drug addiction and Professor and clinical researcher at various academic institutions in the United States and Canada.
