Matthew Cotter, PhD, is a Medical Director within US Medical Affairs for Pfizer Oncology. In his current role at Pfizer, Matthew is a member of a Breast Cancer team with responsibilities for Investigator-Initiated Research, physician advisory boards, publications, pre-launch and launch activities, life cycle strategies and operating plans. These activities involves close partnership with multiple cross-functional teams including global medical affairs, health economics & outcomes research, clinical development and commercial teams in order to develop integrated medical affairs plans to successfully support the growth of Oncology assets.
In a previous position at Pfizer Oncology, Matthew was a field-based medical liaison who worked closely with oncologists at several major academic institutions in the northeast United States.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Matthew completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield, UK, followed by postdoctoral research positions at the University of Calgary, University of Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center.
