Dr. Sandi See Tai is the Clinical Disease Area Expert (CDAE) for Renal in Global Medicines Development of Pfizer Global Innovative Pharma Business. Her responsibilities include setting the strategy for development of medicines in the Renal therapeutic area and other programs, including Ophthalmology.
Dr. See Tai received an MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and she completed a General Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Nephrology fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia. Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. See Tai was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine and Attending Physician in Pediatric Nephrology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. In 2004, she joined Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Director for Transplantation in Global Medical Affairs. After becoming part of Pfizer, through the acquisition of Wyeth in 2009, she has been the Medicines Development Group Lead for in Transplant and also took on the role of Renal Clinical Disease Area Lead in 2011.
