Larry Samuels, PhD
Larry Samuels, PhD, was previously Senior Medical Director, Medical Affairs, at Pfizer, Inc. working in smoking cessation and tobacco control. Dr. Samuels began his career at Pfizer in 1985 working on the clinical development of a number of drugs in several therapeutic areas including respiratory, allergy, oncology, urology, cardiology and pain. In 1996, he moved to the New Product group with responsibility for the evaluation of potential licensing opportunities as well as supporting Pfizer drug candidates in early clinical development.
Dr. Samuels received his PhD in Pharmacology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and did his postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Research Institute in NY, NY.
